How do I join CAFCU?
If you're over the age of 18, you can apply for membership in one of three ways:
Tap or click JOIN NOW at the top of this page to start your application.
Call our Member Center at 1-800-359-1939 Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. CT.
What do I need to complete my membership application?
It takes about 10 minutes to fill out an application.
It'll go faster if you have the following on hand before you start:
Your Social Security Number
Your government-issued ID (i.e. state-issued driver's license/ID or U.S. passport)
Your checking or savings account and routing number (or debit/credit card information) to fund your account electronically.
Please note that you will need to add $25 to your membership account within 90 days of opening your account as part of our membership requirement and to avoid a minimum balance fee.
Is there a membership fee?
All CAFCU members are required to make a minimum deposit of $25 into a Regular Share account to secure membership. These funds must remain in place throughout your membership. This is your "share" in the credit union and makes you a member-owner of CAFCU.
Do you offer any new member perks?
As a new member, you can start saving right away with our New Member Discount!
We want to help you start saving money as soon as you join CAFCU. That's why, for 60 days after you open your account, you qualify for a discount of 0.25% off the APR* on a fixed-rate home equity loan, vehicle loan, or signature loan.
When you apply online, remember to use the promo code NEWMEMBER.
Once those 60 days run out, you'll also enjoy access to special promotions we run year-round to help our members get ahead.
