If you want to send money to your CAFCU accounts from another bank or credit union, here's what you'll need to do.

Once you've downloaded CAFCU's digital banking app, log in and go to More > Transfer & Pay > Transfers.

Then, choose Add Account to set up transfers to and from another institution.

Make sure you have the other institution's routing number and your account number at hand.

Note that this process isn't instant - it can take a few days to complete. It requires the penny test (aka penny drop or penny transfer) to verify your bank and ensure the integration between CAFCU and the other institution is set up securely.

You can send yourself money using Zelle^® set up with another financial institution.

To do this:

• Go into Zelle account through your bank or credit union's mobile app.
• Add your new CAFCU account as a recipient by using the email or phone number associated with your account.
• Then initiate the transfer.

You can use a paycheck or write a check to yourself to easily add money to your account! In CAFCU's mobile app, choose Deposit below the camera icon to get started.

You can wire yourself larger amounts of money from another financial institution. There are no fees to wire money to your CAFCU account. Once transferred, the money is usually available instantly.
