Make saving fun and empower your child's financial future with a CAFCU Youth Membership! All you need to start a youth credit union membership is $5. Any child from birth through 18 qualifies as long as their parent or guardian is a CAFCU member!

Traditional Checking | Ages 16+

Want to teach your child over the age of 16 how to manage paychecks from their first job? Our Traditional Checking account can help young people learn how to track their own credits and debits, all while keeping you in the loop about what they're doing with their money (a parent or guardian will need to be a co-applicant until the youth turns 18.)

Specialty Share Savings | Ages 0-18

With a specialty share account, your child can save for whatever they are dreaming of in the near and long terms. They can also name the account to match their savings goals.

***Primary Youth Certificate account holder must be under the age of 18 when account is opened. Parent or Legal Guardian must be listed as a joint account holder for all minor accounts. Upon maturity Youth Share Certificates with $1,000 or more on deposit will roll over to a 6 month Share Certificate term at current rate. Once account holder reaches the age of 18 upon maturity balances of $1,000 or more will roll over to a Regular Share Certificate. Youth Share Certificates with less than $1,000 will be transferred to the Regular Share Account. All Regular Share Certificate terms and conditions apply. Rates are subject to change.
